The Team
Malcolm Anderson
Malcolm first started designing visitor experiences in the early 1980’s. Since that time has continued to promote modern interpretation practices and apply fresh thinking to developing new approaches to engaging visitors.
Malcolm has previously been awarded a Winston Churchill Fellowship to review Interpretation in North America and is a Fellow of the Executive Development Institute for Tourism at the University of Manoa (Hawaii). Malcolm has previously worked for the Boyle River Outdoor Education Centre,Department of Conservation, Real Journeys, and the Tourism Industry Association of NZ.
Malcolm is well known for both his former regional and national roles in developing units standards for Interpretation, iwi liaison, product development, resource management, DOC concessions, sustainability, small business toolkits and the fore-runner (for the outdoor sector) to Qualmark.
Malcolm works nationally from his base overlooking the picturesque Akaroa Harbour.
